Located in Sudham Nagar, a well-known textile and clothing hub, this commercial building is designed to serve as a multiple activity space, while also accommodating a variety of commercial services. The design thoughtfully balances functionality with visual appeal, ensuring it stands out in the bustling commercial surroundings.
One of the standout features is the series of curved slab which acts as planter box that not only soften the building’s vertical mass but also offer a striking visual when viewed from the road below. These curves, combined with a central focal point on the façade, create a strong street presence. Bold vertical fins enhance the modern aesthetic while providing natural ventilation and effective shading.
Notably, the exterior features no glass, lending the structure a solid, monolithic appearance, yet incorporating smart balcony openings that act as windows to bring in light and air.
A key highlight is the integration of levelled curved planter boxes along the façade, covered with angled rafters that filter direct sunlight and create a captivating play of light and shadow throughout the day. This design move brings a dynamic quality to the façade while adding greenery and depth.
The tall, vertical form of the building amplifies its presence, making it a landmark in the area. Additionally, the façade is designed to be cost-effective, ensuring the project remains economically viable without compromising on its architectural identity.
